Support Staff: Consistent and dedicated support staff committed to providing loving and supportive services, have had a profound impact in the lives of the individuals RLE serves. Through staff, individuals have developed new friendships and had experiences never dreamt of. A pervasive family atmosphere and positive work culture makes the lives of the individuals rich and meaningful.
Nursing Staff: Sharlene Detzel, RN, provides all medication administration training and health oversight. She also works as the Qualified Professional for our PCA services.
Management Staff: Don and Leanne Negley love Northern Minnesota and understand the value of living in a rural environment. Both are civic minded and have a wealth of connections that help individuals become acclimated into their communities. Both are involved daily in program services including providing direct support, training, and modeling. Leanne graduated in 1985 from SCSU with majors in Psychology and Sociology and an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She started her 20 year career with the State of MN as a Behavior Analyst, QMRP, and Group Supervisor at the Cambridge Regional Center. In 1992, she became a Residential Supervisor of a state operated home in Virginia. In 2002, Leanne expanded state operated services with homes in Gilbert and Biwabik. "Retiring" in 9/05, Leanne is committed to providing services that are grounded in loving, individualized, effective, and efficient support.
